Foodbank Launch Harvest Campaign

Birmingham Central Foodbank have launched a harvest campaign to encourage people to donate food to help stock up the foodbank's stores. 'Harvest: A time to share' is asking local people who can to donate and help support the foodbank's work providing emergency food parcels to people in need.

The full details of the campaign and how to donate can be found here. The foodbank are encouraging donations of tinned or dried foods, a small donation of £5 which will provide a meal for a family, or to get in touch if you have a harvest collection at your school or church.

The campaign comes ahead of the winter months which are expected to see an increase in the need for the help Birmingham Central Foodbank offers to people in and around Ladywood.
